Apple cuts the iPhone 6s , iPhone SE first generation and iPhone 7 from the list of compatible devices. This means users will need an iPhone 8 or later to enjoy the latest iOS 16 features Cambodia Mobile Number List some of which require the Apple Neural Engine which was introduced with the iPhone 8 and X in 2017. As the graph below shows, Apple has done a good job over the years of keeping older devices supported by new systems for a long time. While the original iPhone and iPhone 3G received two major iOS updates, newer models typically receive software updates for five to six years.
